It's lovely, indeed, LW. Unfortunately, the varigated has no scent. But I have a ginormous old fashioned bush about ten feet to the right. The lilacs have been in bloom for a week and are already looking a bit frowzy. We only get 2, maybe 3, weeks of full bloom up here. What's cool is they are five weeks earlier than usual. Mid-June is the standard blossoming time up our way.
