New Apple ebook reader

Upstart Literary has some information about the upcoming Apple ebook reader/browser.  The screen capture is photoshopped on there; but the quality of the image is apparently going to far outpace the ugly Kindle.  *slobbers profusely*  More details here in a Huffington Post article.

New tech fosters collaborative writing?

Etherpad is something I just caught wind of.  With it, you can possibly work on the same text simultaneously with another (or more than one) writer! An interesting concept.

So, what do you all think about this? (I'm keeping this at the top of the page for a while because I thought it was worth people discovering.)
