However, I'm a goner for Goth Rock and if you like that style of music, you might check out Evanescence, H.I.M. and Nightwish--as well as Gothika.
UPDATE: Since Robyn mentioned I Lost My Heart To A Starship Trooper, I thought I'd share:
I love Goth Rock, too, Wyrdd, which my 15yo step-daughter thinks is hilarious. Also love Sarah Brightman. I'll go look for that vid.

So true, Sherri! I can remember when I looked at "old people" who liked Heavy metal in the 70s and think how ridiculous it was that they weren't into the old fogie music like they were supposed to be.
Now I listen to bands the kids like and I'm the old fogie.

Evanescense is my favorite rock band! That last album has my favorite song ever right now - Sweet Sacrifice! It is my rock anthem!

I like Fallen best of the two releases, Ello. But the new album is also good. Nightwish sounds like them as well.

Nightwish is an awesome band, though I wonder what they're going to do next now that they've ditched Tarja.
You should also check out Therion and Within Temptation. Perhaps Leaves' Eyes, too. ;)
